This application note illustrates how the KSV NIMA PM-IRRAS can be used to study molecular orientation and detailed chemical composition. Monoacylated β-cyclodextrin Langmuir films were recently studied by Vico et al.* where the molecular orientation of the cyclodextrin in the monolayer could be assessed using the KSV NIMA PM-IRRAS. You can download the KSV NIMA Application Note 5 for more information.
